Biden Slams Trump, Accusing Him of Destroying American "Democracy"
BlockBeats News, November 9th, Xinhua News Agency reported yesterday that former U.S. President Biden criticized his successor Trump, saying that the current president not only demolished the East Wing of the White House but also destroyed the American "democratic" system. CNN quoted Biden's speech at a Nebraska Democratic Party event in Omaha on the 7th, stating: "I knew Trump would bring a wrecking ball to our country, but I have to admit, I didn't know there would be an actual wrecking ball."
The 82-year-old former Democratic president was referring to Trump's demolition of part of the White House and his plans to transform it into a banquet hall. Trump previously stated that his banquet hall plan "will not impact the existing building." The report stated that Biden said: "This is a perfect symbol of his presidency.
