The current disclosed process indicates:

The Senate is expected to first vote on advancing the temporary funding resolution passed by the House of Representatives (which had previously failed to advance in the Senate 14 times);

Subsequently, amendments will be made to include full-year appropriations and a longer government funding extension plan;

The plan also includes an agreement to vote on the healthcare policy sought by the Democratic Party on a specified date.

The Senate is expected to vote on the temporary funding measure as early as the morning of the 10th Beijing time. The measure requires 60 votes to advance, with the Republicans currently holding 53 seats in the Senate. Senate Democrats are scheduled to hold a core member meeting at 6 a.m. Beijing time on the 10th to discuss proposals related to ending the government "shutdown."
